I have a Sharebuilder account that I setup for my niece when she was born that I'll put some money into on birthdays, Christmas, etc. in companies she uses (ex. Apple, Disney, Hasbro). 7/13/2018 · Sharebuilder was my first brokerage account and I loved it. They were sold to ING then ING was bought by Capital One. Recently capital one announced that they would be selling off their self-directed brokerage accounts to etrade. :-( Sharebuilder was GREAT for beginners and using whatever money you could afford to invest.
